CONFERENCE THEME: Women Who Lead: Inspiring Hope and Creating Change

The changes sweeping through higher education can sometimes feel overwhelming and beyond our control. However, we know that the decisions and actions of leaders play a pivotal role in how these changes are received, communicated, and enacted. As women in higher education, our leadership approaches can make a profound difference.  Our ability to inspire hope in challenging times and create meaningful change to address complex problems is critical. The strength, vision, and resilience we bring to this landscape are not only needed—they are essential to shaping a brighter, more inclusive future for higher education.

During this day-long conference, we will explore how we can apply our unique agency to inspire hope and drive meaningful change. Together, we will discuss why it’s essential to stand in solidarity with others, and how we can create opportunities for the greater good from the diverse positions we hold within higher education. By reflecting on our collective strengths, we will empower one another to lead with purpose, resilience, and vision—transforming challenges into opportunities for positive impact.

We welcome proposals for sessions, so if you have an idea for a presentation, workshop, or panel discussion, we would love to review it. Submit proposals here for review. Proposals should meaningfully connect to the NC ACE Women's Network mission and vision; connections to the conference theme are encouraged but not required.
